Since a certain Megan wanted to know what my story Tension is about...
Yes, Tension is a movie that Paige starred in back in 2011. However, it's also a movie script I'm currently writing and hope to be done with before the year is over so I can say I successfully met my New Year's resolution for 2013.
It takes place last year in California, mostly around Beverly Hills, but the setting changes due to issues.
Main characters:
Stephanie Ditrix (played by Blake Lively)
Tristine Athens (played by Paige Elliot)
Jenna Loveland (played by Angelina Jolie)
Stephanie Ditrix is a trust fund baby, who often tries modelling and acting yet can't land a steady job. She heavily relies on just living luxuriously due to her money her parents often give her; she's the daughter of a politician father and a socialite mother. She's known to be rivals with Tristine due to stupid high school drama that neither of them can get over, and it escalated into later issues (They fought over a boy in high school; however, this boy was a drug dealer, and Tristine ratted out Stephanie's usage to her parents and the police, nearly getting Stephanie cut off and jailed, though charges were dropped and both girls stopped using drugs and they both left the boy). She has wavy blonde hair, fair skin and bright blue eyes. She's really nice, tries to be bitchy, and usually ends up embarrassing herself, but can still be fierce when she needs to.
Tristine is the daughter of a business man who runs a mutli-billion dollar company that produces cigarettes that have many different types, and that brand is quickly becoming the most popular cigarette brand. She plans on becoming the business owner / CEO once her father dies, and she currently is unemployed, though she'll go to various meetings and parties relating to her father's business. She has dark red hair, pale skin and green eyes. She's rude, arrogant and disrespectful, and often looks down at others; people tend to fear her due to her father's wealth and ties to other wealthy men.
Jenna is the daughter of an oil finder, is best friends with Stephanie. She was in the middle of the drama between Tristine and Stephanie, and eventually ended up solving it by giving a tip to the police to who the drug dealer was in exchange that they drop all charges against Stephanie, resulting in Stephanie being free to go and the man going to jail for 25 years to life due to other issues + his drug dealing. Tristine and Stephanie have been rivals since, and Jenna is often disrespected by Tristine. She has caramel colored hair, light skin and brown eyes. She's really tough, and tends to talk people through their issues.
The story begins in Beverly Hills, California. We meet all the characters, so on, and we discover Jenna, Stephanie, her boyfriend Chris (Mike Vogel), Chris' sister Parker (Jillian Murray), Tristine, her boyfriend Colt (Kellan Lutz), and finally, twin best friends of Stephanie and Jenna, Mackenzie and Danielle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen). Chris works for Goldman-Sachs, and Mackenzie & Danielle are part of a rich acting family.
We also discover that Mackenzie and Danielle used to heavily do coke and crack, but Danielle has since stopped and Mackenzie still does it. It's also learned that Colt (Tristine's boyfriend) is part of a drug circle, run by Escobar Guillardo (Franky G) that deals to Mackenzie.
Eventually, Danielle becomes extremely concerned with Mackenzie's usage as Mackenzie becomes increasingly in debt to Colt and Escobar, and Danielle goes to Jenna, Stephanie, Chris and Parker for help. Scared to deal with it, the four agree to help, and they go up to Colt to try and negotiate Mackenzie's debt. Colt agrees to have them pay, and they attempt to begin payment, but Colt and Escobar kidnap Parker as "collateral" until Mackenzie's entire debt, which is discovered to be somewhere up to $125,000, is paid off. Colt also tells them that they're lucky they don't kill all of them, since the debt is so extreme.
Realizing that the four (Danielle, Stephanie, Jenna & Chris) can't dig up that kind of money without any of their family noticing it missing, the four go to Tristine, who they know can afford to completely pay off the debt without so much as a blink from her family. Tristine refuses to help, saying she "wouldn't dare to help a loser crackhead with these kind of issues".
Danielle, Jenna and Chris continue to think of ways to help, but Stephanie stays fixated on Tristine, constantly harassing her and demanding the money for the trauma she caused Stephanie back in high school; Tristine remains firm in her decision not to help.
Infuriated that the debt hasn't been paid off in a week already, Colt sends out a threat to Stephanie, Jenna, Danielle and Chris, saying he'll murder both Parker and Mackenzie if the debt isn't paid off in another two weeks, and the four realize they won't be able to get through it.
One final time, Stephanie and Jenna go up to Tristine for help to pay off the money, and she agrees, broken by the pressure from them.
In the midst of this, as Tristine goes to get the money (In cash, as demanded by Escobar), Chris proposes to Stephanie, and she accepts.
However, upon discovering that Colt is the one dealing to Mackenzie, Tristine decides not to pay, not bothering to tell the others about it. The day after the final deadline for the money, Tristine tells them that the debt's been paid off, and that they can leave her alone now.
Thrilled by this, the four return to Danielle's house, where they discover Mackenzie is missing and Parker still isn't around. The house is entirely trashed, and a note is found on Mackenzie's bed, informing them that Parker and Mackenzie might not ever return to the group alive, and they realize that Tristine didn't pay Colt and Escobar back.
Back in Escobar's house, Colt rapes Mackenzie as Parker is tied up and forced to watch. Escobar walks in and begins to fight Colt, saying this wasn't part of the agreement and that they had intended to kill the girls right away. Colt, not tough enough to kill the girls, takes Mackenzie and leaves Parker, driving off to the airport where he intends to fly to Europe.
Escobar attempts to kill Parker, but she manages to escape and runs back to the others.
Parker tells the group what happened, and they begin to leave to head over to the airport to find Colt and Mackenzie.
Tristine is called by Colt, and she flies to Amsterdam on her private jet to a manor that she owns where Colt intends to meet her there.
At the airport, Colt and Mackenzie get onto a plane, Mackenzie drugged and under the story that Mackenzie is passed out due to a sedative she takes to avoid getting frightened during flights. Stephanie, Jenna, Danielle, Chris and Parker arrive too late. However, upon leaving the airport, Escobar arrives, knocking out Chris and kidnapping Parker and Danielle, him mistaking Danielle for Mackenzie and planning to kill the girls.
A car chase ensues, and it results in a car crash, Parker getting life-threatening injuries and being sent to the hospital for the remainder of the film and Danielle unconscious. Escobar then gets out of the car and shoots at the others, getting Chris in the leg and Stephanie in the shoulder. He then dumps off Parker, assuming she died in the crash, and drives off with Danielle.
Later, in Amsterdam, Colt, Tristine and the still-drugged Mackenzie arrive at Tristine's manor, and Tristine begins to yell at Colt for bringing this mess over here. They try to figure out what to do, and Colt attempts to kill Mackenzie while she's drugged, but Tristine stops him. The two assume Mackenzie will remain drugged for a few more hours, and they leave to go find Colt's affiliates that are normally around the Amsterdam area.
Back in America, Stephanie and Chris go to the hospital to get their injuries taken care of, and Jenna makes arrangements to get all three on a flight to Amsterdam. The three leave as soon as Stephanie and Chris have their wounds sutured, not bothering to say for the recommended hospitalization time, leaving Parker in the hospital to recover.
At Escobar's house, Escobar threatens to kill Danielle, holding a gun to her head and nearly pulling the trigger until he realizes that she's Mackenzie's twin sister, and that Colt has the real Mackenzie. He then decides to hold Danielle hostage and fly to Amsterdam himself to get Colt and Mackenzie and kill both of them. He also states he plans on holding Danielle with him, possibly selling her to the Russian mafia as a sex slave.
In Amsterdam, Tristine and Colt arrive back with two of Colt's affiliates, but they discover that Mackenzie has taken an extreme amount of cocaine from a stash Colt brought and then shot herself in the head using his Glock. Tristine and Colt's affiliates berate Colt for his stupidity to leave the items with Mackenzie, and then they dispute on what to do with the body.
Later that night, both Escobar and Danielle arrive at Tristine's manor. At the same time, Stephanie, Chris and Jenna arrive in Amsterdam and begin looking for said manor, knowing it would be where Colt would've gone.
Escobar grabs Danielle and takes her in, demanding that whoever hears him in the house take him to the real Mackenzie. However, Colt ambushes him, knocking him down and setting Danielle free who runs off to a different section of the house.
Escobar and Colt's affiliates arrive to break the two up, and Escobar demands they shoot Colt, which they do, supposedly killing him, and the three set off to find Mackenzie and Danielle, insisting Tristine go with them to help.
Stephanie, Jenna and Chris arrive at the mansion and go in, off to go help Mackenzie, not knowing that Escobar and Danielle are also in the house. Upon walking into the entrance, they find Colt's body on the ground, gunshot wounds through his back and out of his chest, and a pistol, which Stephanie picks up. They assume he's dead, however, he jumps up at Stephanie, and she immediately shoots him in the head, actually killing him, and they go off to find Mackenzie.
Upstairs, Escobar, his men and Tristine keep searching for the twins, and Tristine admits that Mackenzie killed herself hours before the men came. The three men, enraged, attempt to kill Tristine, but at that moment, Stephanie, Jenna and Chris arrive. Escobar and his men immediately fire at Stephanie, Jenna and Chris, and the three duck behind a wall as Stephanie fires back at them.
In the middle of the shootout, Tristine runs downstairs. Escobar fires one shot at her, and she falls down the stairs, and he assumes she dies. The three thugs then go after Stephanie, Jenna and Chris.
A cat-and-mouse game occurs, and each three members of the two parties split up. At one point, Stephanie hides in a bedroom, where she discovers Danielle under the bed. The two get up and try to go hide in the closet, but they discover Mackenzie's body in there, and the two scream in horror, revealing their hiding spot, and one of Escobar's men jumps in, but the two girls climb out the window and climb along the roof.
Outside, the two look at the front of the building, and they see Tristine limping out the front door off to a car, which she gets into and drives off to safety. The two girls plan to jump down, but they realize jumping would either majorly injure them or kill them, and they continue to climb around the roof away from the thug.
Inside, Chris manages to kill one of Escobar's men with a trophy, taking him from behind and bashing his head in repeatedly. He then wanders around the house to find the girls and the remaining two men.
On the roof, Danielle acts as bait and the thug attempts to shoot her, but Stephanie comes out of nowhere and shoves him off the roof; he lands head-first, crushing his skull and breaking his neck. The two girls then climb back inside through a window, where they find Jenna.
Inside, the three find Chris and Escobar in a physical fight, with Escobar's gun on the ground and neither of the men able to reach it. Danielle runs over to get it, but Escobar hits her, knocking her over and causing her to hit her head on a table and go unconscious. Stephanie grabs the gun and shoots Escobar, causing him to fall out a window and die.
Alerted by neighbors, the police soon arrive, and Danielle is taken to the hospital and Stephanie, Jenna and Chris are taken away for questioning. On the main level, as everyone is exiting, Escobar jumps up one more time, but Stephanie shoots him again, killing him like with Colt, and she is taken into custody for killing him, but Jenna and Chris are taken away simply for questioning.
Six months later, it's revealed all of the survivors are okay, Parker has mostly recovered, and Stephanie and Chris are now married. Danielle is extremely depressed after the death of her sister, though, and she heavily relies on antidepressants. Danielle, Stephanie and Chris haven't seen Tristine since the incident, but Parker tells them that she's doing alright. A flashback reveals that Tristine visited Parker in the hospital, apologizing for everything that happened and admitting that she actually liked Parker out of everyone in the group, and that she was running away to live in Paris under a new name to avoid any consequences of the things that happened.
Stephanie, Jenna, Chris, Parker and Danielle are happy to still be alive, and all of the swear to never get involved in something drug-related again.
