You get one of the legendary birds (Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres) based on which starter you chose. Zapdos appeared for me as I went down the waterfall just before the Chamber of Emptiness. But apparently you have to chase the ****er like 12 times (it flees before you can make a move) before it ends up in Sea Spirit's Den where you can finally battle it.
Sea Spirits Den after encountering it a certain amount of times but ugh one of yall needs to get articuno and hate it so I can give someone a zapdos for it. I don't want that ugly chicken.
It only took me like 50 eggs with the Masuda method, and other people seem to be finding them between 50-150 eggs. This is only my second shiny in with like 1000 hours of gameplay across all the previous gens.

I'm thinking either a Dragon-type or a Ghost-type, leaning towards Dragon depending on what moves Greninja can learn.
Would be much easier to play video games that way.
