"Lately"?
You mean Relapse, Recovery, Berzerk and the other song that I forgot the name before Rap God. All of them sucked. I was disappointed for the past 8 years but Recovery was the last line for me. I couldn't stand Eminem anymore. Looking at Em's past works, he has gems but I can count them in my hands. His album tracks aren't strong either.
Kanye has released MBDTF and Yeezus. MBDTF's lyrical content was something above. It was a fantastic album lyrically and production wise. While Yeezus isn't as strong as MBDTF, it is still better than any of Eminem's new albums.

eminem will ALWAYS been a far superior lyricist to kanye, his rhyme schemes and his use of literary elements are far superior.
even though this era has only been three songs, name a kanye song more lyrical than Survival, actually name a kanye verse that's more complex and lyrically better than Survival's third verse (not even close to his best verse btw)

people need to realize right now Em (even tho out of his prime) lyrically ***** on everyone except K Dot & Hospin

No he's not a lyrical rapper. Were you even a fan before? Most of his songs were mockeries. I like it, I stan for those but he's not a lyrical rapper. He has some songs but when you listen to his discography those "songs" are outnumbered by random ass songs.
Kanye on the other hand is a lyrical rapper from The College Dropout to Yeezus, he is.
Yeezus had been an underwhelming album in terms of lyrical content but it still gave us three powerful songs: Blood on the Leaves, New Slaves and Black Skinhead. Ye's delivery also improved.
This is why Kanye West is one of the most celebrated rap artists of our generation. Eminem is alright but after two disappointing albums with 2 current singles that are horrible might as well not check him out anymore.
I clicked on the thread because of the song title 'Rap God' and I KNOW this will be a diss song and I'm right but I love it, it's much better than Relapse, Recovery (w/o Not Afraid and Space Bound) and the two new songs combined. So I thought to myself, there is still hope with Em.
I don't wanna fight y'all but y'all should stop with this ********.
