This could have been the entire soundtrack to High School Musical and no one would have been the wiser. The album sounds rather juvenile and aside from a few new tracks, the best songs have already been debuted. It's a shame she ruined BTGOG with the production. The stripped down version is far superior.

i know right? katy's never gonna please everyone these people criticizing her wants her to release something that's gonna self sabotage her career as a pop star. if it's too different it's boring if it's uptempo it's generic
I'm actually happy that she has a lot of slower/more emotional songs now that I think about it. I wish there would've been a few more dance songs but it looks like Katy is trying to mature her style which is something I missed from OOTB during the TD era.

lol, it's expected. This album is much more mature sounding, and now the haters will say it should sound more like TD..even though before it was "Katy needs to mature."
Quick question... Are you guys listening to the snippets on a laptop speaker or with headphones? I'm using headphones and it's always interesting how songs sound different with different speakers. I can see why some of the tracks would seem underwhelming on laptop speakers.
I seriously want to go through bookmarking people who are doubting Unconditionally. I honestly think it has the potential to be her signature song. Like, career-defining.
