I would rather be known for my personality because looks will only take you so far. If you have a sucky personality but good looks chances are people will only use you.

If you have good enough looks, you'll have an easier time with job opportunities, and get the job over Mr/Mrs. Personality. With that money, you can just buy yourself a personality.
