I actually don't mind this single choice. It's not my favorite, but I do like the song a lot... well... obviously, I do, it's Maroon 5, lmfao. I really wanted them to release "Sad" as a single, though, or "Wipe Your Eyes". I feel like "Sad" could do really well even though it's a ballad. It was heavily compared to "Someone Like You" by Adele after its release and... well.... We all know what a huge success that song was. I think they should end the era with "Lucky Strike" or a sixth single. No more than that. One of my local radio stations said that "Love Somebody" was the last single, though.....

Sorry to say it, but "Sad" is a flop. It's the closest thing to SAJ era M5 on the album, but I think radio would pay it dust. Maroon 5 is no Adele. They seem to be going with obvious smashes, and it has worked thus far. (FYI: I love "Sad.")

I don't know how well "Lucky Strike" will do, since it's the 5th single, but I don't expect too much. It would be nice if they could continue their top 10 streak on the Hot 100.
