A majority of extra-martial affairs in these regions happen to be gay relationships though...
1) It's easier to conceal and it's socially normal for two men to be holding hands in public over there
2) The Qur'an specifically only speaks about adultery
as between a married man and married woman punishable by DEATH
, but never mentions between two married men.
