2- Selena is a weaker vocalist than Taylor, imagine that.
3-Selena relies heavily on auto-tunes and always uses it, even in her ballads. Taylor doesn't, except for the electric effect on 22. She messes up live in the same parts of her songs that she messes up with in the studio.
4-Taylor can write, Selena can't.
5-Selena's lyrics is and Taylor associating with her would only bring Taylor down artistically since Taylor's music is much more superior than Selena's.

I know it's hard for you to believe it, but Talor's voice is actually stronger than Selena. Taylor may not be the best vocalist ever, but at least her voice has volume in her midrange. Selena's voice doesn't. She whispers and her belts are even worse than Taylor. Taylor can do better than Selena Gomez, especially since Selena's lyrics are

3. Selena has done acoustic songs very well. Taylor's song are perfectly suited for her talk-singy voice. If you would have her record something that would be out of Taylor's league, I bet she'd use autotune too. The thing is: she produces and writes **** that fits the little singing she can do. So no autotune needed.
