I don't believe in these 'hints'. It's just a way of Nintendo to mention the other regions and even games in this case.
Well, last time hints were implanted so strongly, we got HGSS. It follows that with a ton of RSE & Kanto references, a Generation 3 remake may be on the way before or after Z (or X2 and Y2 if they pull that crap again).

I'm not denying the fact that we'll get RSE remakes/sequels this generation, but let's say that if they released DPPT remakes/sequels this generation everyone would be like ''oh yeah that makes sense, they have been hinting them in X/Y.''
