I got X, i only bought it based on the legendaries tbh. Both versions are equally great (unless you're a starmie fan )

I've never really understood IVs and EVs and I still don't completely but with Super Training essentially does it mean if I got the base stats up to maximum that when my Pokemon levels up it gains more in its stats than a "regular" trained Pokemon?
I've spent 6 years playing Pokemon and never having much clue what I was doing with stats and stuff.
