Phoebe Tonkin releases her debut single Bedtime Stories



Phoebe Tonkin just released her first ever and debut single called Bedtime Stories on iTunes. Bedtime stories is her first ever song that was released, and her fans for the first time heard her beautiful, powerful vocals but at the same time sweet as honey voice, and after listening to the song, you can't deny that Bedtime Stories will be a big hit and will dethrone charts, also with Phoebe perfectly debutting in music industry. It was perfect time to release her music, because right now she's 'on the wave' - her CW show The Originals is undeniable hit, she gains and gains more Twitter followers and fans with everyday. It's her first ever song and single, so this is quite a big thing for her. Her debut single was released via Indigo Records, and Phoebe Tonkin is also signed under that label. After a month of speculations, Indigo Records only last week confirmed, that Phoebe joined fresh new label and that will be releasing her debut first single soon.

Bedtime Stories - Phoebe's first single - was recorded, written and produced this summer in California by well-known Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris, with some help from Norwegian producers team Stargate (who also produced Come & Get It) and Phoebe's single was written by Phoebe herself, with some help from Calvin. After reading/hearing those lyrics, you'll be impressed, because Phoebe has some good and awesome writing skills. Bedtime Stories is a mid-tempo, pop, worldbeat, synthpop dance anthem, and an undeniable hit. It is more feminine song, dedicated for girls and women who are dealing with partners' lies. Lyrics are about how a guy cheats on girl, and she knew all about it for a while, but didn't wanted to leave him just because she was afraid to ruin her own reputation, but when she was tired of guy's lies, she slapped him across the face, saying 'I'm tired of your lies, who became like bedtime stories for me'.

After the midning release, Phoebe's debut single Bedtime Stories instantly topped iTunes charts selling a lot of copies in it's first hour, because Phoebe, Calvin, Stargate and Indigo Records were tweeting about it every minute, and also posting posts about it on Facebook too. The song itself received almost only positive reviews from listeners and critics, on iTunes, websites and blogs, and Bedtime Stories was decribed as a good dance anthem, that you can dance along in the club, or listen before sleep. Some of the people called it as 'definately a hit', and you can sure tell it is, because production is really good, and Phoebe's voice is perfect, and now we just need to make sure that her voice sounds good live, too.

Phoebe also received 200,000 and even more Twitter followers (the number is still rising) after the release of Bedtime Stories. Phoebe was so happy about how people are reacting to her song, she was tweeting two times a minute thanking everyone who bought Bedtime Stories from iTunes and followed her on Twitter. It seemed like she is really excited about her music carreer and performances that she'll be doing this week.

Ellie Goulding appeared on stage wearing a black bra, jacket and trousers.
She sang Under Control. Her voice was quiet at first but very powerful during the chorus.
Ellie focused on her vocal with this performance instead of dancing.
She hit a lot of high notes in the chorus.
At the end of the performance, she bowed.

Ellie slowly dropped down from the top of the stage.
She had a white dress on with wings like an angel around her.
She sang her beautiful ballad Lease My Love.
Ellie took off the wing and white dress.
Underneath, she was wearing a black t-shirt with black shorts.

Phoebe Tonkin just appeared on Good Morning America morning show. She was wearing a loose, dark blue top and black thight leggings with some black sky high-heels. Her short hair was straightened and looked beautiful, actually, shorter hairs fits Phoebe better than longer. For the makeup, she was wearing some mascara, had smoky-eyes effect, andbright red lips. Overall, she looked amazing. She visited Good Morning America to do an interview and talk about her upcoming plans, fresh music carreer and how she decided to start making music, and also to perform for the first time live ever and to perform her single for the first time too, so it's a big day for Phoebe to be honest. First of all, she did an interview with hosts. She sat down outside the studios on the stage, where she'll also perform. She was smiling all the time, because probably she was excited and nervous at the same time - everyone wants to do a perfect debut, and Phoebe is one of them, who tries to do everything as perfect as possible. She is truly a perfectionist.

Interviewer: Today we have a really special guest on our show, and she's a really good actress, you've seen her on the shows like The Vampire Diaries and now, on a show called The Originals, but from now, you'll hear more and more from her, because she's about to dethrone whole music industry with her beautiful voice, strong vocals and undeniable hit, which was released today on iTunes. Please give it all for Phoebe Tonkin!
Phoebe: Hello everybody! I'm so excited to be her, I'll be performing for the first time, and I'll be also performing my new single for the first time! I'm so nervous, but at the same time, I can't wait.
Interviewer: You're quite successful artist, how did you started making music?
Phoebe: I started with writing songs, messing around. Last December, I was just carrying around my notebood everywhere and writing some rhymes in it about everything that I was experiencing during the day, and somehow, I started writing full songs. Then, by this summer, I had written around 15 songs, and I've went to California, Los Angeles for my summer break, and it was quite magical, because Los Angeles inspired me so much, or maybe I was inspired by what happened during this summer in Los Angeles. And so I wrote a lot of songs, but I didn't knew what to do with them. And then, one day, I was messing around on camera, covering some songs, and my good friend Claire Holt uploaded my covers on YouTube, and somehow, Indigo Records reached out to me, and they asked me to do some demos. I was like, ok, and I went to my other friend's little studio, like, mini homemade studio, and I've recorded couple of demos with my friend, who played guitar. I've sent out them to Indigo Records and after a week they were offering me to sign a record deal. I freaked out and as soon as I checked the contract and everything was ok, I signed it. We've signed a record deal for one album. Then, by the end of the summer, I got in studio with Stargate, then I met up with other producers, Calvin, Dom, Rick and Emile. We've created some awesome songs for my album, they all sound amazing, and all of them are dance, pop, worldbeat and synthpop tracks, but I also have some ballads.
Interviewer: So, album, you say?
Phoebe: Yes, we've recorded 7 songs so far out of 18, and for the album I'll use 13 songs, probably. All seven songs are so amazing, I'm listening to them everyday myself, and I can't wait for everyone else to hear it too. And I don't even know when it's coming out, I don't want to say anything, because I don't want to make my fans sad, if like it turns out, that my album will be out only next year. I don't know.
Interviewer: Can you confirm some songs that will be on the album already?
Phoebe: There will definately be Bedtime Stories, then Twentynine Palms, which was inspired by small city in California, I was there during my summer break, and there will possibly be Midsummer Days. They're all amazing track, I'm so excited for everyone to hear with what we came up.
Interviewer: Also, you're performing for the first time today ever? Is it true?
Phoebe: Yes, I've never ever performed live before, and it's a big thing for me, and I can't believe that so many people came in here that I'll have the opportunity to make my debut outside the studios, I was expecting like only for two people to come, but this... this is huge. I'm so happy. I'm so nervous, but at the same time excited, I wonder how everything will turn out. But I hope I won't fall down on knees because of my nerves.

Later, after interview and some other things that aired on Good Morning America show, Phoebe Tonkin performed her latest single Bedtime Stories on the stage. There weren't that much decorations on stage, but her microphone was stylized just for her - they were golden, well, not golden, but it was gold imitation. On the stage, with Phoebe, there were also a live band which was created just for Phoebe by Indigo Records team/label exclusively. It all looked simple, but, as you know, simplicity is always a key to perfection. Phoebe at first was standing infront of a micstand for a couple seconds, but when live band started playing instrumental and she started singing first verse with her powerful and amazing vocals, she took the mic of the micstand and came closer to the fans, who were jumping next to stage. She was grabbing their hands while singing, and it made quite a beautiful connection there. It just prooved, that she can sing perfectly too, even if she's moving around, not standing in one place. It's a hard thing to do, because when you're moving and singing at the same time, you are getting out of breath really soon, but Phoebe was professional and did everything at once, and it looked, like she could even dance and sing together at once all day and all night. Her voice was beautiful, and her vocals were amazing, she is a professional singer for sure, and she's here to stay. She walked on the stage while singing, grabbing fans hands around and dancing with them. You couldn't hear her strong Australian accent while she was singing, just because she worked really hard, for three weeks, to make her Australian accent disappear while she's singing. Audience seemed to enjoy her performance, because all the time, they were dancing and shouting Phoebe's name. Phoebe looked like she's playing cool and calm, but deep inside, she was actually freaking out, but thank God everything went well, there were no pitch problems, she didn't fell on stage, her vocals were as good as it are on studio version of the song. Live band did an amazing job, instrumental sounded really good, even though it was different than the instrumental on studio version, because basically, it's impossible for live band to do electro beats and stuff, but everything went well, and Phoebe made AWESOME debut as a singer, and everyone were happy with her performance. After the performance, Phoebe decided to thank her fans personally, and ran off the stage just to sign some papers, hug with fans, chat with them and to sign physical copies of Bedtime Stories. During the performance, Bridgit gained a lot of followers on Twitter once again - 100,000.

The smoke disappeared and Una was standing on the stage with Frankie.
They were wearing short black dresses and white t-shirts.
They started singing the first verse of Headlines.
Vanessa walked to the middle of the stage and sang the chorus while Una and Frankie danced.
She wore a black skirt and a blue top.
Mollie and Rochelle rose from the bottom of the stage to sing the second verse.
They wore colorful skirts and tops.
The performance wowed everyone.


China's Got Talent

The Saturdays visited China and sang their newest single + promo single at China's Got Talent!
The performance begins with Vanessa and Frankie singing the first verse of Looking For Love.
