Lorde isn't really indie - she's never made her music "independently" of record label funding (although the label wasn't involved in the sound of her album) - she's been signed to Universal Music, the largest record label in the world, since she was 12 years old.
I'd classify her sound as more "pop alternative", which is definitely what Australia is here for.
And I'ma go out on a limb and say Azealia has a big fat zero market left in Australia nowadays. She's more popular in the UK.
