What is your first memory?

My mother running over my dog before she took me to school. I was in Kindergarten, and have no recollection of anything else from that period.

I can remember most things as far back as 4... I don't know what my first memory is, tho.

There is a memory from back then that's really bugging me. I can remember some of the basics of it, but not all of the details. I need all of the details to really know what was going on. I feel as though it's really important, but I wound up suppressing it somehow.

It's not amnesia we just don't have the cognitive skills at that age to hold on to memories

It was either me waking up in a car when i was around 2 or 3, asking where my mom and brother was to my father, or me and my mom in my hallway I think I remember my third birthday too

I remember a few days before my fourth birthday my mother was telling me to get excited, that's probably my earliest memory. In general I feel like I remember nothing from my childhood though And most of the things I do remember I can't really place at a particular age.
