Paige Elliot on the View



Paige Elliot appeared on the View this morning, where she touched on an array of topics, including announcing that she was in fact going to be in court later today to begin her divorce settlement with her husband, David Elliot.

She began the show by performing the soft-rock version of "Ready for the Weekend" before she began to sit down with the ladies, taking a seat next to Whoopi, to join them in their regular discussions. In the midst of it, Whoopi asked Paige how her divorce was going, to which Paige replied:

"David refuses to deal with just lawyers. I demanded a certain amount due to traumatizing events, emotional damage, physical assault and adultery, and he refused to accept... So, we're getting stuck going to court about it. The first day of the settlement is today, and I plan on winning this in the end."

Despite the abruptness of her comment, things went on normally for the remainder of the show.

Justin Bieber finally unveiled the remix he was speaking of on Twitter today! The “Showtime Superstar” remix he called it, with Top Rapper Nicki Minaj. The Top Pop Artist and Top Rap Artist currently on a track together, is sure to be fire huh? You can’t hear now, but Bieber will release this weekend after the new chart. “Showtime” still serves as the single, the remix is just something a little to help it out. The remix will be available on iTunes, and until then you can buy the main version on iTunes and some stores that may still sell Physical Copies of it.

ALL AT ONCE WORLD TOUR REHEARSAL EPISODE

A ten minute rehearsal video for Taylor's All At Once World Tour aired on MTV and was uploaded on the singers VEVO channel just now. It featured clips of Taylor recording her next album songwriting, and rehearsing songs for her tour. In the video rehearsal footage for the songs 'She Loves You Better Than I Do', 'Love Story', and 'All Too Well' were shown. Taylor talked about her excitement for the tour. After that it said 3 days until the tour and it went off.

Earlier today, Paige Elliot's Vevo and YouTube accounts uploaded a new video for "Ready for the Weekend", being a total lyric video with various shots of detailed sketches stills from the music video. A 15 second teaser for Justin Bieber’s newest video yet, “Showtime” – directed by him was uploaded to VEVO today. Showing him in Tokyo in one scene while singing, he hinted earlier this week the video was supposed to have “star-quality” to it. He also did a competition earlier where 100 fans got to come in the video, and some have spilled they do a scene where he steps out a limousine and they play fans at the red carpet going crazy and screaming over the Teen Popstar. Justin Bieber's tour continued in Mexico, and for this day and the next he decided to switch things up a bit. The stadium was the biggest one he's done out of U.S. yet (35,000 in attendance) so he wouldn't to give the huge amount of fans a surprise. Justin first came out with Lorde as usual, as she performed 2-3 songs and they performed "Aliens Invading" together. Then he came to stage with Vanessa Hudgens and performed an UNRELEASED SONG "Leave It Up To Me" that was suppose to be used for the Fast Times at University Soundtrack before they decided the song didn't fit with anything throughout the movie. They showed fans the trailer of the movie too, and reminded his Mexico Fans to see the mvoie when it comes to theaters there. Next he performed a setlist of 5 songs - "If I", "Turnt", "Hot Right Now", "Everything is Everything", and "I Still Wanna Believe". The fans in the stadium were showing humongous love, and were already 'turnt' by the time it got to the track of that same name to perform. Fans say his vocals were "pure crystals" there, and better than the performances they sit at home and watch. He then did a little break from the usual singing, and invited fans on stage to do things – ask questions, cover his songs, and some little fun/games. He ended up also letting a Cancer Patient who was a die-hard fan of him to stage, and gave her a kiss. She received free tickets to the concert from a competition she won, and was dying to meet him! He then went on and performed some more songs, “My Everything”, “Showtime”, “Message In A Bottle”, and “Keep On Runnin’” were among some of the mid-tempo/slow-tempo songs he then performed that time. He also announced to them the remix for “Showtime” with Nicki Minaj, and to buy it when it’s in digital stores next week. By the time the concert had reached the end and climaxed you could visibly see the audience was delighted and impressed from his time there, and after he performed 4-5 more songs he then told them it was closing soon. He was met with screams of “ENCORE! ENCORE! ENCORE!” so then he decided to perform another unreleased song, he had performed on tour a few times – “Livin’ Bitch” that was also suppose to make the Soundtrack but was scrapped. After he had left, fans were left in the absence of memories of a great performance.

Court: Brooklyn vs. Elliot

Today, starting at exactly 11:43 EST, Paige Brooklyn (Legally named so; still publicly known as Paige Elliot) appeared in court with her husband, David Elliot, for the first day in their court settlement where issues flew around the court room, including David accusing Paige of adultery and "bitchiness" while Paige accused David of emotional trauma, physical assault, self-esteem damage, slander and defamation of character.

Paige and her lawyer, Charlotte McKinney, arrived in the courtroom before Judge Grace Reilly, while David arrived with his lawyer, Michael Zlanovski.

While both parties were suing to get divorced, Paige was also suing David for emotional trauma, damage to self-esteem, physical assault, slander and defamation of character, listing the assets she would like to gain from him should she win the case as: $2,000,000 ($1,000,000 to her personal account in the US/SimNation, $500,000 to her off-shore account in Sweden, $250,000 to her off-shore account in Luxembourg and $250,000 to her account in England), David's 2012 Aston Martin, a luxurious yacht owned by David in Isla Paradiso, a speedboat also owned by David, full ownership of their shared apartment in Bridgeport, and for her restraining order against him to remain intact until either of their deaths.

David immediately scoffed with Paige and Charlotte listed her demands, while Judge Reilly seemed very at peace with it, not making any facial changes. However, Paige claimed that a the Aston Martin, the speedboat and the yacht were bought by her and were technically still in her name, though only David used them at the moment. Judge Reilly immediately confirmed that Paige would receive the Aston Martin, the speed boat and the yacht, though the money and the apartment were to be debated about.

While the self-esteem damage claims were dismissed (With Judge Reilly stating: "You're indestructible. Stand up for yourself."), the emotional trauma claim was immediately ruled in Paige's favor.

However, after a long argument between Paige, Judge Reilly and David, it was finally confirmed by Charlotte that Paige was physically harmed by David, with photographs taken at the Bridgeport Medical Center emergency room showing Paige with a large, foot-long bruise on her chest with several small cuts from shoe trackings, along with an x-ray showing one cracked (but not totally broken) rib, and the story matched up with claims that David kicked Paige in the chest when she asked him not to leave her the night he announced that he was leaving her.

Finally, a simple view of last weeks' MTV episode and this week's Maury episode lead to judgement in Paige's favor for slander and defamation of character.

In the end, Paige was left with the $2,000,000, the Aston Martin, the yacht, the apartment and the restraining order still intact, as Paige decided she'd rather have the apartment than David's speedboat.

However, due to his physical abuse and slander towards Paige, David would be charged for two felonies, and a later court date (with Paige as the plaintiff) would occur.
