Kylie has been irrelevant since the Loco Motion era. Janet is a legend.

But I don't understand the logic behind this post, the reason I said that was because toxicity was trying to act like janet is just so damn irrelevant. Yet the same woman she stans for out of every major pop girl today has copied her the most. It's the irony and ignorance of the post which is why I said that, this comment wasn't even needed.

Who cares bruh Janet is a LEGEND who broke many records, that is all that needs to be said she doesn't need to prove anything anymore. Many still take notes from her and will continue way into the future whether she has a hit single or not

Kylie is a legend in her own right. As I said, they are icons in different areas. Kylie is a legend in Europe (more so UK and Australia than any other area). And Janet's a legend in the states. Give them both their props
They even have Kylie in museums

But who said kylie was not a legend/popular, when in my comment did I state she did not deserve her own props?? I was referencing in terms of Josh that janet has proved her stripes and doesn't need anymore hits. As in reference to Kylie Minogue in fact i'm a fan of her and is familiar with her discography and how she came to stardom/how popular she is. Don't take words out of my posts. And Janet is not only a legend in the states that is pure lies

That would have been a cute comeback in 1986 but now it's stale and old. Anyways seeing as she is the only other jackson to actually establish a huge legacy of her own, with legions still taking notes from her. I would say even if her last name was Johnson she wouldn't end up like Reebie or Latoya for that matter.

I am not quoting all your essays. In resume:
- Janet never had global hits, then only one is TA. And that's about it, the rest had a mediocre performance. While Kylie has at least four global top 10 hits.
- Last Janet's tour had 66% of its dates in North America (out of 80). Grossed $15.9 million (45 dates). Kylie's last tour grossed $52.8 million (72 dates, 22% in North America) according to Pollstar's reports. Averages: 353K vs 733K.
- Kylie's last three eras have done way better than Janet's, hence I say Janet is a forgotten act. It is stupid to deny Kylie's career has been in a better shape than Janet's, last decade.
Anyway, I think Janet stans are misleading my point. I don't really see any of them as iconic. That's a strong word for both of them. Kylie might be iconic to Aussies and Janet to african-americans. But neither of them are in the same level of a Madonna or a MJ. Those are real iconic acts. This went out of proportion based solely on a "CGYOOMH >>> Janet's career". Anyway, my life won't be affected if Janet is or is not iconic so farewell.

Yass sis clock the tea. And we all know the likes of Britney Spears, Xtina, JT, The Pussycat Dolls, the rest of N'SYNC & J.LO, Tiffany etc... are all african americans. Excuse my ignorance. And in reference in the bold it's stupid to deny that Janet isn't an icon/legend who was always local yet the tour receipts from the past say otherwise but carry on

ddd at pulling the race card trying to make Janet seem local as **** Then why was she able to achieve a sold out tour in japan?. She's iconic to more people than just African Americans stop.
And Kylie is not as irrelevant as some want to think either. Both are icons in their own right.

Exactly I mean in 1989 being MJ's little sister yet at that time holding the title for the biggest debut tour for an artist above the true icons like Madonna. My god she was local
In fact The Velvet Rope world tour which had dates in:
61 in North America
33 in Europe
3 in Africa
8 in Australia
6 in Oceania
11 in Asia
122 total
And grossed over 78 million which was exceptional for it's time was the definition of local. And yes when you have a recent tour that has done well in many continents you are still local, atrl logic I tell ya.And kylie is only used in the australia and Uk def a fact on this site too

Do you know what is ridiculous? To state that I cant tell if Kylie is more popular than Janet in Europe or not because I live in one European country
You are stanning way too hard, hun.
Its similar to USA, but I have never witnessed anyone on this forum to attack someones claims about US culture with words "there are 50 states in the USA, you live in ONE of them, so how you can make such a generalized claim"
Let's revisit YOUR initial comment. Oh yes europe being comprised of 47 different countries is the same, as America which is only one country I get it so much now. Go on sis educate me. But I gotta ask a question if Europe is like the U.S. then why does each country have it's own version of itunes???

Janet inspired Gaga, Brit, MJ and pretty much all the KPop acts. What kind of impactless flop

I have been saying since the beginning: "african-americans and US based acts.", look it up. And you just confirmed it.
A legend? Time for Janet's stans to stop being massively deluded. I have never denied her influence in african-american and US based acts, but she is by no means seen as a legend outside of the US. Let me guess, most of you are american and probably black people. Blinded and deluded stans will never change...
Oh, and no need to try the smarty-pants attitude with me, and get overly defensive over someone who doesn't even know you exist.
