All of our dreams have finally come true, as Bridesmaids director Paul Feig announced in a recent interview with Cinema Blend that he is developing a gay romantic comedy set to star Channing Tatum and Saturday Night Live player John Milhiser, who just joined the cast this year.
We repeat, Channing Tatum is finally going gay.
The film, which will obviously be the greatest rom com of all time, revolves around an ordinary guy (Milhiser) who stars dating a crazy hot guy (Tatum, obvs), and can’t cope. The pic had originally been written for a heterosexual couple, with Melissa McCarthy and Jon Hamm attached at one point, but this new cast is way better. Sorry McCarthy.
This is clear proof that our Logo Hearts Channing push is working.
So, being the friends we are, we want to help Channing get in character for this big role, and invite him to come on by and just chill at the Logo offices for a day. Or all the time. Whatever works for him.
And, let us be the first to say, thank you so, so much Paul Feig. This is the greatest gift we have ever received.
There is no word on when filming may begin, but seeing that Milhiser’s SNL season just started, we are assuming next summer.
