It's been over 3 years since I came out now, I told my mum just before my 15th birthday. I was so scared, even though my older brother is also gay and was already out and accepted the thought of coming out was still really scary but I'm so glad I did, it feels incredible to be able to be myself completely and not worry about judgment

I came out to 4 people in the last year. Told 3 and was asked by 1. Broke down and bawled my eyes out when I told my cousin.

why is it so tough to come out though? i wish it was easier .

I was not trying to be ironic i swear lol but it was when it just came out.. It was easy with some, tough with others and I still feel like I'm coming out with certain family members. Coming from a Cuban family is the pits but people are used to it by now and they love me no matter what
