I think it's so funny how people love to portray Mathew as this powerful and connected music industry figure. The man was an executive in the corporate world -- he had as much leverage in the entertainment industry as my ass would if I just rolled up into the offices of a record label with a talented person I wanted to manage.

Powerful is Clive Davis, Irving Azoff, Tommy Mottola, etc. Mathew Knowles is not a powerful person in the industry. If that was the case, why doesn't he have multiple success stories or ANY success story in the music industry not directly related to Beyonce? Mathew has an excellent mind for business and is a very driven and motivated person (Beyonce really takes after him in that respect), but, the notion that he is this all powerful God ruling over the industry with the power to create a career out of thin air and hand out Grammys at will is delusional and ****ing ridiculous. I guess anything that can be grasped at to perpetuate the ridiculous narrative that Beyonce's success is smoke and mirrors and has nothing at all to do with Beyonce and her hard work and her talent. Nope, can't be that.

I don't get why everyone is always so mad that someone is praising Beyonce, she has worked her ass off for everything she has and it's OBVIOUS she appreciates it.

It's so hard to keep track of all the people using words like "legend", "queen" and "goddess" to describe her. And judging from how weak their shade is it must be even more exhausting for the people running into every thread just to disagree.
