It's really stupid but I always thought:
The Fame = Gaga's 'Off The Wall'
The Fame Monster = Gaga's 'Thriller'
Born This Way = Gaga's 'Bad'
ARTPOP = Gaga's 'Dangerous'

(I'm not comparing Gaga's albums to Michael's, just suggesting they're her equivalent).

Anyway, the point is since TFM era I had a feeling that RedOne would be Gaga's equivalent to what Quincy Jones was to Michael, and they'd stop working together after three albums. If you compare levels of success/popularity throughout Michael's and Gaga's albums too, they're pretty much the same. The similarity is just .

(Yes I know RedOne has some contribution to Gypsy. But still, wow).

Nah, Gaga always has one main producer. RedOne for TFM, Fernando for BTW, and DJWS for ARTPOP.

You guys can continue crying about him even though he has proved to be more versatile than Madeon and Zedd combined. Maybe if your opinions on "good" were not directly connected to success, you'd get that.

Where were the complaints when most of TF, TFM, and BTW were produced by one person? The songs will most likely have co-producers like all of her other songs.

Surely y'all should be wanting the best tracks to be on ARTPOP, not the most diverse/equal producer line up?

DJWS is the musical director of ARTPOP, much like Fernando with BTW and RedOne (effectively) with TF/M. She's never had an album where there isn't one producer taking the majority.

DJWS has shown a breadth of production styles, so I see no issue. Swine to Sex Dreams to ARTPOP to J&D all sound different. If his tracks were the strongest, or more tracks came from his sessions with Gaga, so be it.
