Lorde may not necessarily be a fan of Selena Gomez, but she does like Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato.
In an October 9, 2013 MTV Q&A, a fan asked Lorde who her favorite Disney star was. She answered Miley Cyrus.
She also complimented Demi Lovato, saying, "'Camp Rock' was great. I really enjoyed 'Camp Rock.'"
Will these comments be enough to rebuild some good will with the fans? The "Royals" singer recently came under fire for dissing the Gomez hit, "Come and Get It," suggesting that the song promoted an anti-feminist message by encouraging women to take a passive role in relationships.
She also took some hits from Swift fans for suggesting that the country star was "too flawless" and "too unattainable," and that it sent a negative message to young women. However, she did apologize for the comments about Swift, explaining that her remarks had less to do with Swift and more to do with society's obsession with physical appearances.
Lorde may not be a Gomez fan, but it's good to see that she likes Lovato.
