And actually thats the idea, expanding the concept to a new generation and younger artists.
They already first created the Vegas residency concept for adult audiences booking prestigeous legendary acts like Celine, Elton and Cher
And now they want to start the concept for younger audiences and Britney is the first one booked for it.
I don't see anything bad with it , as I said only prestigeous acts have gotten those deals, On the other hand X factor was in fact a bad decission and I agree with that, thank god she is not there anymore
Anywho, Bey is a perfectionist always has been throughout her career. And who said she was finished with her album? I'm still not understanding why folks think she missed an opportunity by not singing a new song at the SB. Not many artist use the SB as a place to drop new music. 
This is the standard waiting period between each Bey album.
