What people are failing to understand and incorrectly shade Rihanna with is the controversy aspect. Yes they both had controversy before an album BUT unlike Miley, Rihanna did not go seeking out attention. She did not go and plan to get punched and use that as fuel for sales and fame. The opposite is true for Miley. Everything she's said and done up till now make it clear that she's in it to for the fame and records, HENCE, why Miley should be opening up with bigger numbers than she is.
