I think the 5 chair challenge is a great idea though. I gave up on the show but last week I was flipping through the channels and I saw XF, and the 5 chair challenge really grabbed my attention and I started watching again.

It would start the same week Idol ended then. It would be an even bigger overkill.

Fox produces Glee, so it gets royalties from music sales, international distribution, syndication, and pretty much anything 'Glee' related.

Despite lower ratings, they probably still make more money off of it vs. X Factor.

Hope so. The Voice is the only good one remaining. Even Demi and Simon can't lure me in, and even Britney couldn't last season. I don't like anything about it.
