Wait Calgary to LA sounds fun but 2 days? Are you going alone? Haven't been to either places but do people do this often?

I've never actually been on a proper proper road trip but am dying to. Prolly sometime next year.

2 day trip from Texas to Arizona on a greyhound bus. It was the first time I got out of the state. I had to be out in a straight jacket when I found out there was a whole world outside of Texas. I've never knew anything else.

No, its a family trip. It's a 2 day trip down to Los Angeles. Were spending 10 actual days there.

This is the first time. My longest trip before this was to Vancouver (only 11 hours.)

Washington DC - Minneapolis
about 16 hours

and Miami - Washington DC
it was about 14 hours

London - Cork, Ireland around 13 hours driving. Had to get a ferry obviously as well, which was like an extra 4 hours

Memphis to Albuquerque to Los Angeles.

In a car? Like 4 hrs

That's why they invented planes, ain't got time to be sitting around for hours and hours

My longest road trip was just a whole day through Scottish Highland. Nothing exciting.



The most painful trip I experienced was 18 hrs (it was horribly delayed) on train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok and then extra 3 hrs on coach to Rayong. All of us literally died at the destination. My earwax was totally blackened by the smoke after the trip.

True enough, but at leastwith a car you need to get frisked, body scanned and x-rayed to get into it.

8 hour bus ride from Sarajevo to Belgrade (it normally takes 5 hours but my driver sucked)
