i hate this type of cover too, there's a difference between being artistic or even vague and just being weird for the sake of being weird
like we don't all need to know how artistic and new-age and philosophical you are, try proving that through good songs rather than throwing colorful objects in impossible to understand positions at us
Ok @ people being small-minded and easily dismissive of the ARTPOP cover. Just because it requires more than 1 second of thought and is more creative than anything else that a Pop artist has released this year, cover-wise, doesn't mean it's "conceited" or "over-the-top". I have this feeling people will just keep hating everything she does because it isn't surface level disgusting Pop trash and it's actually forward-thinking to the best of Gaga's abilities. It's time you all realize this.
Speaking of being paid dust, why did my fave's video for an 10 month old urban only U.S. single get more views in a week then your faves comeback single?

How shameful to follow something someone else had already done before, it's a good thing your fave would never.
