I wanna smack whoever decided to give the Prism cover the blurry texture. Katy looks STUNNING in that pic and the texture just ruined the picture tbh. The ugly, old-fashioned floral border and the unnecessary illumination further ruins the Prism cover for me.
With that said, Prism cover is what I expect from someone like Katy to deliver.
I LOVE the sculpture used in ARTPOP. I love the gazing ball and when I saw the zoomed in picture of it, I felt in love with the cover even more. I do agree that the background looks busy and the fonts are a little meh.
Overall, I'd have to say ARTPOP is the better cover. It'll be more memorable and it'll definitely stand out when placed on shelves (or anywhere). It portrays pop art perfectly and there is hidden meanings associated with specific parts of the cover. (The TF wig, the reflection from the ball, the Botticelli painting).
I would've chosen Prism if the pic of Katy wasn't as blurry and the ugly floral borders weren't there.
