Dianna Agron Excluded From Cory Monteith Tribute Episode
Quote:
Dianna Agron is reported to have been purposefully excluded from the Glee tribute episode for the late Cory Monteith.
The 27-year-old, who played Monteith’s girlfriend on the Fox series for four seasons, is said to have been left out of the heartfelt episode due to the wishes of both a current cast member and one of the show’s creators, according to RadarOnline.com.
The reason for the snub is alleged to be a widespread dislike of the actress, who was dropped from the musical comedy’s fifth season earlier this year.
The absence of Agron’s character Quinn Fabray in the series’ tributary episode has already drawn suspicion as she was integral to Monteith’s legacy on the show.
And since Agron played Finn’s love interest early in the series it would only make sense for her to return for the elegiac musical celebration.
RadarOnline reports that a ‘high level source’ at Fox has revealed that Monteith’s real-life girlfriend Lea Michele and series co-creator Ryan Murphy ‘intensely dislike Dianna and have both worked to marginalize her as much as possible.’
The insider added: ‘It’s shocking, because even though she’s not contracted for this season, many other actors returned to pay tribute to Cory... even ones with less of a story connection to Finn than Dianna had!’
The source went on to explain that Lea and Murphy ‘never saw her [Agron] as a team player’ and that they ‘simply did not want her sharing the glory for this very special episode.’
MailOnline has contacted both Ryan Murphy and Dianna Agron’s representatives for comment but have yet to receive a response from either party.
The source went on to explain that Lea and Murphy ‘never saw her [Agron] as a team player’ and that they ‘simply did not want her sharing the glory for this very special episode.’
If this is true than this is deeply, deeply ****ed up.
Oh god just let it go, all these tributes for a drug addict? Yeah he had some personal issues but enough.
Don't ever define a human who's lost his life as just a "drug addict." he was a person who meant a lot to a lot of people. A lot of people's lives are changed because of this event. Don't be ****ing rude.
