I believe the reflection in the ball is meant to be there in that way actually. On the right, you see those two white ionic columns next to someone wearing black (maybe Gaga). they have no functional purpose in the room and are nowhere else on the cover, so it's logical to assume they were placed there as part of the reflection on purpose - meant to be seen. Then there's the mirror in which you can see the ball itself, and it looks like the statue is actually behind the ball too and its reflection is also in the mirror.
