In 2003 album sales were already showing signs of a decline and Hilary unexpected sold a **** ton of albums when no one expected a Disney Channel girl to sell much at all. Come Clean & Fly weren't release physically and digital downloads weren't a part of the Hot 100 at all in that time period.

Her only singles that received the full single treatment and were released during the digital era (when it was merely burgeoning, mind you) were Wake Up and With Love and both went top 30.

Anyway, we're talking about the UK here, not the US.

You have not answered why you find it fair to compare 2003 album sales to 2007-2008 album sales.

That's because they didn't post Miley's & Vanessa's album sales brainiac.

Regardless, Skyscraper (which is currently #7) & Heart Attack have sold 420k+ combined (with about 330k of that sold this year). That leaves 360k unaccounted for, which could easily be made up with the rest of her other singles & album tracks.

They couldn't "easily" be made up of just those other songs as the majority of her songs haven't charted. Camp Rock was a mild hit internationally (with charting singles in the UK) so that obviously was taken into account. Why do it for Miley & Vanessa but not Demi smart one?

With Vanessa & Miley they clearly stated that their sales included Disney soundtracks but they didn't not with Demi so it obviously doesn't include them

Heart Attack charted for 15 weeks (only top 75)
Skyscraper charted for 11 weeks (and counting)
La La Land charted for 10 weeks
Remember December charted for 6 weeks
MITUSA charted for 6 weeks (and counting)

^All the above songs were/are bigger than Demi's Camp Rock singles

That doesn't mean that at all. Have you ever studied journalism? It is common to avoid using certain phrases and words more than once or twice so that the piece doesn't become repetitive. Or the writer may have simply forgotten to include the disclaimer considering they had already mentioned Camp Rock in the previous paragraph.

And despite the amount of weeks that all of those singles charted at, only three or four of them charted higher than the Camp Rock tracks?
