Some are missing the point. Herr money is going into a trust fund. That means she can not have control of her money until she gets older. As the article also says the fund is to protect the money from other people using it without permission. Many young stars have their money. stolen and are poor by adulthood

If she was indie I doubt she would've ever got out of New Zealand. It would just be too difficult to break out of such a tiny country into the American market without a record label.
