Miley did it with "We Can't Stop" and it skyrocketed to #1 after an hour of release. Ellie Goulding, Avicii and Demi Lovato are some other artists that have benefited from this as well.
Thanks! Britney did it in the UK, currently at #355. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

SNL effect for Miley was minor. I guess she's had so much exposure, buzz and headlines that everyone already knew about those two songs. Lorde would benefit greatly from SNL.
It had a pretty decent effect, imo. "WB" has increased 10%, "WCS" around 6%. Are there any major reactions to SNL for comparison? If so, they're probably ones that weren't at a high already and had room to really boom. I agree it doesn't necessarily feel like it had a big effect, since "WB" is already selling 300k+ a week and "WCS" is past its popularity prime.

I forsee Top 20/25 for "Work Bitch", unless she goes and performs on X Factor UK during its release week. Or perhaps repeak and go and perform like "Womanizer" performance.
The second half of Heartbreaker is SO much better than the first. I think it'll grow on me. Hopefully Bieber will be at #1 soon (even though that means my girl Lorde being at #2).
