Halle may very well be proof that age ain’t nothing but a number. She’s just welcomed her second child at age 47!
According to reports, Halle delivered a healthy baby boy early this morning at Cedars-Sinai with her husband Olivier Martinez (47) by her side. Halle is also mom to 5-year-old Nahla (who was praying to God for a baby sister) and this is Olivier’s first child. The baby’s name has yet to be announced.
Earlier this year, after revealing that she would be having another baby, Halle said:

This has been the biggest surprise of my life to tell you the truth. I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.

Just two days ago, Halle looked stunning as she left a lunch meeting at RivaBella in Beverly Hills. It was also announced on the same day that she would be playing the lead in a new Steven Spielberg-directed drama, Exhaust. In the new series, which will make it’s debut on CBS next summer, Halle will play an astronaut who returns home after a year-long mission. This will be her first time taking on a starring role in a TV show since she played Queen in the 1993 mini-series, and her first ever acting job on Living Dolls in 1989. She’s pretty much been a movie actor all of her career.
