20. Christina Aguilera
American singer who still entertained me this year with her 2006 album tracks "Oh Mother" and "Mercy On Me".
19. Morning Musume
Japanese girl group who had a bunch of excellent hits like "Onna Ni Sachi Are", "Itoshiki Tomo E" and "Mikan".
18. Margaret Berger
Norwegian Idol alumnus who released a great electro pop record with songs such as "Samantha" and "Robot Song".
17. Nelly Furtado
Canadian singer who dominated 2006 but this year had to survive on the remnants of my "Say It Right" addiction.
16. Rokia Traoré
Malian singer, I loved playing her album while playing Civilization IV. Great world music.
15. Róisín Murphy
Irish queen of electronica, released one of the best albums of the year. "Primitive" is such a great song.
14. Amy Winehouse
What a voice! Who doesn't love Amy Winehouse? She saved British music this year.
13. Josh Groban
"L'Ultima Notte" is such a beautiful song. His Christmas album is kinda lame, though.
12. Nightwish
This Finnish band is still my all time favorite artist. But their new singer is such a downgrade. They're "just" a band now and no longer "the" band. RIP Tarja.
11. Tiziano Ferro
Italian singer who dominated my Winamp last year, but I was still in love with "Ed Ero Contentissimo" at the start of 2007.
10. Within Temptation
This Dutch band released their worst album yet, but it was still enjoyable, with brilliant songs such as "Our Solemn Hour".
9. Ai Otsuka
Amazing Japanese singer, she keeps releasing great songs, and also released a new album, "Love Piece". I love you Ai. Ai is also the Japanese word for love.
8. Ayumi Hamasaki
Ayumi had a mediocre year but she ends it well with the beautiful "Together When..." and an excellent new album.
7. Britney Spears
Get naked, get naked, get naked, get naked... Take it off, take it off, take it off, take it off.
6. Rihanna
She released her two best songs ever, "Good Girl Gone Bad" and "Rehab". Of course, neither are singles. Dumb *****.
5. Jordin Sparks
The best American Idol winner yet, her song "Freeze" is beyond excellent.
4. Loreena McKennitt
The only concert I've been to this year, Loreena's music is the most beautiful music ever.
3. Utada Hikaru
What can I say? The best female singer of all time. Utada
2. Darren Hayes
Darren is just amazing. The album he released this year is a masterpiece. Best male vocalist that has ever walked the planet.
1. Blake Lewis
"Audio Day Dream" is by far the best album that has ever been released. The highlight is "Surrender", which is so good that it's hard to believe Ryan Tedder wrote and produced it.
