I don't think this was a drag, I think she's generally saying she disagrees with what Miley did to Sinead and does not support it

It's not really a drag. Mocking mental illness is wrong and I'm glad she spoke up.

She did and I'm glad! IMO she is spot on to express how she feels. Plus, how is she dragging Miley?? As a person who has suffered a type of mental illness, Demi most certainly has every right to "rant".

Put yourself in her shoes: how would you feel if a friend of yours publicly made fun of a disability you and many other people suffer from as a drag-response to someone else who also suffered from mental illness??

You could argue that Miley only meant to make fun of Sinead and Amanda Bynes (the latter's inclusion proving Miley's complete disregard and malicious intent). Or that Sinead had a drag response coming to her. But Miley could have dragged Sinead in another manner without including Amanda + throwing her and a whole group of people who have never done anything to Miley under the bus along with Sinead. Miley could have also come for Sinead without the mental illness angle.

Demi would be fake and heartless to not at least question Miley for what she did; and the fact that they are friends shouldn't be an impeding factor. It should make communication easier actually. Miley probably didn't even remember Demi and her issues while going at Sinead and Amanda. And Demi has mentioned via twitter several times that people can and should always try to talk things out. If their friendship is real+strong, I am sure they can work it out. I hope so.

what mental illness did she even have? it didnt even seem serious she was a teenager who partied too much and took drugs


seems unfair that Demi portrays herself as a hero in interviews whilst people like Lindsay cant plead insanity, they are just labelled drunk/junkie etc etc

The difference between her & Lindsay is that she actually tries to help people with her problems whereas Lindsay goes out & repeats the same mistakes again & again. They're not comparable
