A city, totally!
How the **** could someone pass something like this up?
A beautiful skyline to wake up to every day, shops, theaters, restaurants all in walking distance and the diverse amount of people that would be found. It's just like the perfect life. I'd have to be close to the country, still, for get a ways now and then, but I'm definitely a city boy at heart.
City. I would like to have a house in the countryside and the middle of nowhere as well, that would seem so peaceful. However I've lived in the city all my life so trying to change would be disastrous
Countryside, hate the city, especially city centers... all those busy streets and all those crowds... think about it, any one of those people could be preparing to stab you. They could be taking damaging photos with a telescopic lense. They're all lessors.
There needs to be things to do though, no boring countryside or small English villages, ech.

Ahh, that picture just gives me feels because I love the the view and the bathroom.
Anyway I agree with the statement above. I'd want to live in the city. Not too far from the city but not too close to the noise.
Either one could be just fine with the right company, but probably a city. I love the distractions city-living provides. I try to make each day special and exciting, so huge metropolitan areas are great because there's never any shortage of new things to experience.
But when I'm older and loved up, and no longer dependent on the artifice, glamour, and pizzazz, I could totally see myself settling down in a more rural area with my boo.
