Bridgit Mendler Performs Light Of You and Memories Like This On Billboard Tastemakers
Bridgit Mendler performed her songs Light Of You and Memories Like This for Billboard Tastemakers exclusively. Bridgit sang her songs with a guitarist helping her. She perfomed on a top of the rooftop, filmed by two lovely guys. Bridgit was wearing really cute white shirt with black leggings and simple black martens shoes. She looked amazing, even though there was wind, but Bridgit looked flawless, because her hair was flowing in the it, like it was in Light Of You video. Firstly, she perfomed Light Of You, which sounded really cute, she wasn't trying to do big vocals with this song, because it needs to be simple and catchy instead of over-singed. Later, Bridgit performed Memories Like this, which was more intimate then Light Of You, because Bridgit basically sang out all of her heart, giving all of her emotions to her performance. It all looked really beautiful and sounded just flawless. Videos of the performances were instantly posted on Billboard site.

No teasers this time, just going straight into the video!
Example releases "High Tides" music video
The music video to Example's (soon to be :eli) hit "High Tides" hit VEVO and MTV today, with a world premiere around the world on MTV and E! outlets worldwide. BBC Radio has signed a deal with Example to play either "High Tides" or "Forget About Never" on the top of the hour until 00:00 tonight. The video has already gained 16,000 likes and 73,000 views in the past 30 minutes since it's release.
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ _
The video started off with the camera panning around a remote deserted island covered with trees and fauna. The camera then zoomed in, and it cut to a scene with Example, dressed in caveman-like clothes, trying to start a fire with rocks. The camera cuts away again with Alpines throwing a spear at a small animal but missing, presumably trying to eat it's meat. The scene comes back at night, where Alpines sits around the fire made by Example, and after Example sees the amazing amount of food Alpines brought back, Example hugs & kisses her. Right before the song starts, Alpines gets a frustrated look on her face and says, "We need to get off this island." Example then replies, "I know sweetie. I know." as they drift off to sleep.
They wake up the next morning, and the song starts. Alpines goes out into the woods to get more prey, but then she says "I'm sick of this", and starts building a boat with palm tree wood scattered around the island. Hours later, Alpines comes back empty-handed, and Example frowns at her. She says "Come see what I made for us!", as the chorus starts.
They get in the boat as tides engulf them while they take the slow trek back home, literally signifying the song title "High Tides", as the breakdown goes, the editing cuts into a rapidly flipping book, with each frame going by.
The scene cuts back into reality, and the second chorus starts. They use a telescope and see land in the distance, and they clap and cheer. As the breakdown comes down again, everything goes by in choppy slow motion, with Alpines splashing Example with water, and them playing around in excitement. As the bridge comes, Example sings it with enthusiasm while manning the boat towards land. Right before the final chorus comes, they arrive on land and during the last chorus, all the family does a group hug celebrating the return of the two. During the final breakdown, the chorus cuts away to everybody smiling, playing in the beach and chatting and catching up with each other on events.
Opinions, please?

TMZ -- Kelly Clarkson refused an interviewed by Perez Hilton
It sucks to be Perez Hilton these days. And more if you have a sweetheart like Kelly Clarkson in front of you refusing an interview. Perez a while back promoted the interview on his website saying that he contacted Kelly's entourage and they agreed on a date to make this interview an appear on his website and even having a podcast of it.
Yesterday night Perez updated his website saying that according to schedule conflicts, the interview can't be done.
But the singer clarified on twitter, that she won't associate her name or her image with some negatives people. We contacted Kelly and her team and here what they said: We have a promo tour to do with the album and send our schedule planning to all the medias business. And some of them thought that sending a mail with a date and hour seal the deal. Kelly is a grown woman who chose her show and media she will be on. She will ask specifically to be on a show or not be on an other one. We got approached by Perez Hilton three time for an interview, that we declined the three time, and we have proof of that dated and signed by both camp (Perez and Kelly's camp).
ShoTime Records who had an issue with Perez Hilton on the past for false rumors and false advertisement might take legal actions, to prevent of a future problem.

Example talks music (and donuts) on Conan
Example recently chatted with Conan O'Brien on his wildly successful show, "Conan". The interview is as follows:
Conan: Hello Example! Welcome to the show!
Example: It's great to be here, thanks!
Conan: I'l go right in and ask the first question: How does the success feel? Going from selling out 4,000-capacity to 40,000-capacity venues?
Example: It's been crazy. Now I'm mobbed in all parts of the world *laughs*
Conan: What's your new album about? Any influences?
Example: I'm basically trying to be the anti-Taylor (no shade Tigerlily, she just makes lots of break-up songs ), making songs about being happy in a relationship. Moby & Chase + Status are the primary influence in my mind.
Conan: Your new single "High Tides" has been doing very well, but is there any future singles planned?
Example: I'm going to be releasing my new song Superman October 11, with an Iggy Azalea remix coming the 18th.
Conan: How's the competition on the chart? Do you feel confident?
Example: I'm hoping to finally go top 10 next week, it's been something I'm striving for. Top 5 would be nice also.
Conan: Favorite type of donut?
Example: Chocolate glazed. Yum!
Conan: Thanks Example for coming in today!
Example: You're welcome, it's been a pleasure.

SKY FERREIRA ON MICHAEL & KELLY
Sky Ferreira visited Michael & Kelly to give a short interview and promote her latest single which is out killing the charts, Teen Queen. The song and it's video has caused quite some controversy due to the raciness and provocativeness displayed in the video. It avoided the block on YouTube that would force viewers to be eighteen or older to view it. And all this paid off as it's already surpassed fifty million views in two days making it on track to be the first video by a Tigerlily Recordings artist to reach a hundred million views in less than a week. Ferreira was all over New York City this morning and is expected to be on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon tonight to perform the first and lead single off her debut record which is expected to be released mid October.
You've never really did this much promotion for a single have you, Sky?
No, not at all. It's actually kind of weird too but I love it. It's exciting. You'd think it'd be a little tiring but I just keep in mind it's my music me and my label are promoting and that they believe in me.
Did your label have any involvement in choosing the lead single? Most artists usually go by the label's consent.
I chose three potential songs to serve as the lead single from the album and we pitched those to the label executives and we really all agreed on Teen Queen.
What did the other two sound like?
One was a ballad and the other a really sassy Lolita kind of song called Catch Me If You Can.
You're first album to impact the charts debuted at number two with over two hundred thousand copies sold. You're getting a massive following and your fanbase is getting bigger and bigger? That's fairly new, right?
It's crazy. Not even three weeks ago could I even chart and now I'm topping iTunes and stuff. It's crazy.
The album to be released next month is done right?
I am pretty sure it's done. Just we keep redoing the track list over and over to make it perfect.
Will we get a second single before it drops?
I believe so. My label is deciding which song to go with for the second single.
A lot of artists are doing movies, do you feel like any want to do go into doing movies?
I'm an actress but I think I need to focus on my music first.
Sky performed 'Teen Queen' in a biker jacket with a hot red skirt and some heels. She looked hot and her vocals were raspy and had the sexy husky signature tone to them. The backdrops were flashing neon colors that gave the performance a 70's kind of disco feel.

SKY FERREIRA ON THE VIEW
Sky Ferreira appeared on The View this morning to perform her latest single 'Teen Queen'. Due to timing issues and scheduling, Ferreira was unable to stay on the panel for the interview the whole show but she did give a brief interview about her single, new album, and opinion on artists in the industry who are seeing current commercial success.
Your single has a euphoric seventies sound to it. Was that your intention?
It was originally meant to turn out to be a pure rock song but we added some cool synths in there to give it that seventies kind of feel you hear in there.
The video is quite racy? You weren't worried about the potential backlash that would come with releasing it were you?
Controversy is just ****ed up promotion, so I didn't really care. And the song itself is explicit and the meaning 'Teen Queen' just tells you the song is going to be racy and very edgy. The backlash has started but I don't care at all.
You're album is said to be full of amazing songs that could all be singles. Confirm or deny that?
I can deny that. Some of the songs on the record are experimental and I'm not really sure if they would work as singles. Radio plays a huge part on whether or not a song is a success.
Do you have something going on with Justin Bieber?
People keep asking this but the answer is the same. There's nothing there but kind of a newly started friendship.
On your altercation with Azealia Banks, how did that turn out?
She got her ass beat and I guess next week I'll have to bear performing with her ass.
Sky Ferreira performed amazing, giving great vocals and stage presence to her song 'Teen Queen'. With neon abstract visuals and dressed in cute little mini dress with a light blue blouse she impressed everyone. She closed the show and she was off to another studio to film some more performances.
