Well, we don't know that and if they were they would have been caught out as well.

And remember, Android fans always say "Apple are so behind" so how would Apple be stealing idea's if they implement them either first when no one else was (eg 64bit) or 3 years after everyone else.

I mean, the 5S was out for like 2 days and Samsung said they would try to make the S5 64 bit as well. Not that they were already doing it, but they would try to do it.



I'm really pissed off. Since I bought my Note 2 there has literally not been a good thing Samsung has done.

Apple and Nokia wouldn't be dumb enough to do something like this, they have no reason to spy on Samsung anyway. Samsung doesn't innovate. Every move they make is predictable.

Nokia would never spy on other companies or copy their ideas. They have the largest patent pool in the mobile industry which is testament of their wide range of inventions and great contributions in the mobile space. They're so original that they even refused to join Android unlike where everyone else is at now and rather settled with an unpopular OS which ultimately caused their demise.

Nokia tested android phones before Microsoft acquired them. Nokia ceo at that time was wise enough to see android device market would eventually be dominated by a single brand. Which happens to be Samsung.

Still, if Nokia went on a road with Android. They would fail harder, would be in huge dept.
Buyout saved Nokia from possible failures. Most importantly thousands of Nokia employees kept their job.

So you're suggesting that nothing could've saved Nokia regardless of the OS they chose and that they're bound to fall either way? If anything, Nokia would have still been the top mobile phone manufacturer had they gone the Android route considering that Android dominates the same markets where Nokia used to command. All Android OEMs even the lessor ones are posting profits and increased volume shipments each quarter except HTC. Android is very similar to Symbian in many ways and Symbian users will find the transition to Android almost effortless. It was Windows Phone that alienated majority of former Nokia users. But even so, Windows Phone was almost hopeless but Nokia still managed to save it from turning into complete oblivion like what happened to Windows Mobile. Nokia have a huge following up to this day and most of them are just disappointed of the path they chose.
