I'm from South America sis, that's how it works here. Mostly of the guys are heavy metal/ rock lovers so if you like something diferent they treat you like ****.

Also if you don't like soccer or beer then it's worse.

Some gays-hipsters do the same and drag to the pits of hell to pop music lovers.

I'm a senior, gay, go to a college of 2000 kids in northeast LA and have been blasting my "gay" music library for the past 3 years (even in the shower).

Really though, college is the time of your life, when you get to express yourself to the fullest and do the crazy things you have always wanted to.

So just be yourself. It might be hard to find your group(s) or friends you are comfortable being with, but you will find them sooner or later around the end of freshman year.

SAME!!! Im straight but my iPod is "gay" and I listen to "trashy gay pop." Its so f**king annoying, like apparently I have to like Drake and Lil Wayne and indie music and all of this **** to not be gay (even though I do listen to those artists too, just not as much as Rih / other pop). So annoying

I've never met anyone who knew about ATRL, in real life, and I don't want to.

Why? We don't have lengthy discussions on ATRL per se, but I might bring up music related news that I read on here first. ATRL provides us with basically all of the most current pop culture conversation starters we could ever need.

My best friends make fun of me for being on ATRL, but are always coming to me and asking for the latest pop music tea.

I love my apt but I pay an arm and leg for it, but I have more amenities than most complexes and I have a great view.

I use ATRL wherever I want. Ain't nobody here paying my bills! I go to school in Atlanta though and not many if these people appreciate my queen. it's like Rihanna, Beyonce, and Nicki zone. The white girls have no hope.
