Maybe I don't get out much but the song is so big yet it seems like such a non factor. I never hear about it.

It was more easy between 2002-2005 because of the urban crossover hits but it's not easy anymore, especially for a pure pop artist like Katy Perry.

I'm sure some members of a certain stanbase are pressed that Katy proves to be the real radio queen slaying with no urban support while their fave who's an urban staple probably only barely reached the Top 20 with a mere featured single.
