Madonna still hasnt fully recovered from that radio ban smh. The Bush years was a weird time. Clearchannel and the FCC were practically state-run media channels in that era. It was crazy. Disney Channel, ABC Family, and Fox were also right wing networks. Dixie Chicks fell off the face of the earth, same with Rosie O'Donnell, same with Janet. I mean what kind of George Orwell 1984 fascism teas?

Janet had two 90s releases, with both of them doing about 10-13 mil each.

Madame Dion and Moo were doing 30M+ eras.

Whitney her total is a bit shady and inflated due to the Bodyguard, but the janet. era sold comparable to IYBT. And TVR era sold comparable to MLIYL.

So, really The Bodyguard soundtrack is a bit of a tiebreaker between the two (and also more memorable, anyway).
