Well, compared to MJ, Janet, Paula, and the entire TRL gen. of stars that danced yeah I guess Madonna's dancing is not that great but she made a career out of being a performance artist not out of being a singer or dancer. That's why people call her smart. She carved out her own niche & highlighted her strengths to make her stand out as an artist/performer. If she had tried to do the status quo/perform like how her peers were (MJ/Tina Turner/Janet), she probably would have failed.
