Halfway through the album and I can truly say this album is a MASTERPIECE. It has so much to offer musically. It transcends so many genres and blends them all into one album full of multiple textures, layers, and content. This album offers so much in terms of diversity and versatility, it has something for EVERYONE from pop fanatics to hip-hop/rap/urban goers.
I'M SO SORRY MILEY AND HER TEAM FOR UNDERESTIMATING.
This album is sooo good. I really feel as if this will cement her impact on the industry. If they can perfect the singles run, this may very well have the potential to do extremely well!
I'm so impressed and never expected much from her, since she's come from the same disney era as Selena and Demi ect... and as much as their albums are good, they're easily discarded. With BANGERZ you can really tell Miley has spent time crafting her sound. I honestly do not get the reviews saying this is a messy album? It's pretty cohesive if you ask me, there is an urban string that flows from song-to-song.
Singles run for me;
1st - We Can't Stop
2nd - Wrecking Ball
3rd - Drive (November Release)
4th - Maybe You're Right - January Release
5th - 4x4 (March)
6th - Do My Thang (May)
7th - Get It Right (July)
Liking it so far, only on Love Money Party but so far it sounds pretty great.. Im also sorry i underestimated, cos i really dislike Miley but i can listen to this!
I've heard the album in it's entirety and can say that Miley has truly proven herself as a force in the pop realm and world. She has created, crafted, and perfectly executed a sound that is entirely of her own and separates herself from her contemporaries. This is easily one of the best albums of this year. Musically it embodies so many facets, genres, and sounds from pop, hip-hop, rap, urban, ballads, and slow tempo. It's so diverse and versatile. It has so much to offer to anyone who's a fan of any kind of music.
I'mma try to make single list, although I'm still into all songs I need more time to finalize the list. I predicted all of Unapologetic singles right (sans Jump, which didn't get released. My list got stopped at What Now)
