Do you like the word gay? Tbh, I hate it... If I get asked "Are you gay?" I think it's the worst feelings/thing in the world

I would even prefer "Do you like guys?" to" Are you gay?"

I hate that word, sounds ugly

It's just a word used to describe my sexual attraction; I'm not bothered by it. Unless people want to make it some sort of insult, but that's their problem and not mine.

I prefer "Are you a homosexual"

I always answer yes...but I've been asked that once lol. I always say no to "are you gay"

You kinda just have to re-appropriate it. I used to hate it because I thought it was ugly, but that was mostly because I was afraid of being gay/out. Now, that I am I don't mind saying I am and joke about being gay all the time ahahah

Gay doesn't even sound harsh it's sounds cute imo. The word ****** is harsh+ worse if you ask me.

when im referenced gay it makes me cringe a little, i guess it stigma attached to the word.

When I hear people say it they always put an emphasis on it like "are you GAY!!" So much strength in it

I'm really uncomfortable using it. I try not to. I like men and it's no secret, and I'm definitely exclusively homosexual, but I feel incredibly uncomfortable saying or thinking I'm "gay". I've never said "I'm gay" and I refuse to say it. I'd rather just be than have to define myself all the time with any given term. I just want a boyfriend, who the hell cares what it's called?
