I've used Grindr for months and I had so many requests to meet up with guys but I declined them all until this one "straight" guy messaged me wanting to try a few things and he turned out to be really sweet and we've met up a few times, but he has a girlfriend now so I don't think I'll be seeing him anytime soon.
I have a Grindr and I have given serious thought to having a hookup off there or Craigslist before, but I've decided against it every time and I really don't think I could ever do it.

I confronted him because he was using the same profile as me. And then he had the nerve to start copying everything I was saying!!!
After a while though we started sweet talking each other, met up and and had a wonderful night. So glad I connected with my hand that night.
There's nothing wrong with using Grindr or Craigslist to meet up with someone.. as long as you are smart about it, get a **** ton of pics, talk to them etc, it's no different than meeting someone at a bar and taking them home, either way they are strangers, so I don't really get the difference at all..
I'm a big fan of Scruff. All those hot bearded hairy older guys that will spread their legs for you before you can say "I'd prefer to **** your throat before" are perfect.
Grindr is full of those boring young guys, all the same.
I did once and it was...weird. Sex without real passion behind it feels really strange imo. It was a little different because i kinda had talked to him a bit for a couple weeks, so maybe that's why? As for my opinion on it...one of my friends hooked up with someone online (not even on a website dedicated to that...he found him on a board game simulator of all places) and they've been together for 8 years now and just got engaged last month, but another one of my friends did the same thing and they were together 3 years and it ended with...well, to put it lightly, some not-consensual-stuff and my friend's now really badly scarred from it...so i'm kinda torn on this one because those are the biggest examples in my life.
