I want to buy Pokemon since i saw how big its community is so i have been doing a lot of research on it, it turns out the anime's world has nothing on the game series, so i want to find out if the game series is better.

All the fans are saying that its the best RPG game ever, so i am convinced to join this **** but my question is which game to buy.


The only game buy pokemon i bought was Rubby i think it was the only pokemon game i cared for.


So which game can get me back ?

I'd start with Platinum, it's a nice way to introduce yourself to Pokémon while not having to deal with the dated graphics of the previous games.

If you love Pokémon enough you can buy those later.

Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver are excellent games to get into the Pokémon franchise (again). They give a good boost of nostalgia and if you haven't played the original Gold and Silver then you will have the chance to explore two 'new' regions (out of the five, six with X and Y coming soon) in one game, including the Pokémon of the first two generations.

Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 are the msot complete games of the franchise, but it may be kinda hard getting into them, since they will feature two new generations of Pokémon for you.
