Christmas time is coming..and I don't wanna waste it.

I have an IPOD Video, which works quite fine, but I only have it because it's the most popular and therefore it's easy to ask people how to use/fix it. My sister uses a Zune, which, from wut I see, works well too. ;p

I still have my old iPod mini, however I recommend not getting any iPod. Most people who have tried different kinds of Mp3's similar to iPod and an iPod think the other one is better.

^ really? that's wierd. I've had various mp3's when i was little and none of them worked as well as my iPOD, which i got for christmas 2 years ago i believe, has worked. i really like mine. it's a 30 gb video ipod .

I've only tried my iPod... I've tried some other regular cheap mp3 players so iPod rocks for me. However, I would've wanted a Zune

All I'm saying is that there are better MP3 players. Just look at websites for top rated MP3 players and you will find some better than iPod. I'm not saying iPod is bad (it is far from being the worst) but there are better ones that you have to dig a little to find.

I have an mp3 player, it's a Creative and it's very good, in my opinion. It can hold thousands of songs, it can hold pictures, you can record up to 10 minutes of like say a lecture for a class or an important conversation and after 10 minutes is up, you can then recored another 10 minutes until you run out of space on the mp3 player, it has a calendar, you can change the background colors or make it a picture, it's got a Most Played button that's made to show you your top 20 most played songs of all time on your mp3 as well as the top 20 least played songs of all time on there, etc.

I agree, but anything takes digging with technology is either gonna be unreliable, although has more features, and when things go wrong, there are very few that can help you with the problem and less knowledge. I am not endorsing IPOD, but with all the available information on it and guarantees and warantees (SP?), that might be the best bet. Just so you don't waste money is all.

Try dealing with Apple when you have a problem and see how helpful they are because trust me they aren't. I've had experience with them. If the MP3 player is better, then you shouldn't have problems anyway.

iPod is just a tool, any other mp3/4 palyer could subsitute it anyday

Creative mp3 are good...an iPod is so well known and it is really good...but some of mp3 players beats the iPod with some features

I have a Sandisk Sansa 8 GB, holds about 2000 songs plus FM radio, video, photos, & you can record with it. It has a microSD card slot too. It works just like an iPod and was a lot cheaper, and you can use any music program to d/l & transfer songs. Only problems I found with it is songs from burned cd's come up as "unknown" but that could be my windows media player and you have to buy accessories for it online. but i was able to buy a car charger/player online that works just fine
