Wrong. The life span of TV shows is much longer, which means it has more room to explore its characters, put additional layers and depth to them. The budget of TV shows is nowadays also comparable to those of decent blockbuster movies, look at Game of Throne which got granted a 50 million dollar budget for its 10-episode debut season. Plus, the money also lies in the TV industry, as it can cash in money for up to a whole decade if the actors and producers are willing and the show is successful enough, while a movie can last only for so long as its being shown in theaters.
Not true. Most series are full of fillers anyway. In a 50 minutes episode you get 20 minutes of action and 30 minutes of boring filler. I don't use.
You have good taste in TV. I'd put Breaking Bad at number 3 behind GoT and Walking Dead. IDK, they're all so close for me it's virtually a tie anyway. Throw Homeland in there, too.
How you gon put walking britney up there with breaking god

Yep and TV shows have received constantly rising acclaim due to these facts in the last decade.
