- Competitions like these are all about using your strengths to your advantage. Also many of the judges turn around cause they're shocked that the contestant can imitate the original song so well. So its not that hard to get through the blind auditions like some of y'all are making it seem.

madonna can sing some pretty damn good emotional ballads. she puts a lot of drama and emotion into them. if she'd want to, she would get selected.

and let's not pretend that gaga is that good of a singer during her dance songs. she mostly relies on a backing track like all of them even during ballads she sounds like she has a stuffed up nose.
