The only possible use for "The Lost Time" is to have "WANEGOD" follow it in the tracklist, and the Lord even f*cked that up. Such a holy transition (although ofc "IAD" => "WANEGOD" is also iconic).
If they release this in pop for US i can see the era sizzling out pretty fast there. All hope on 'ATW' for country so i could sustain the little bit of interest that i have left.
They were during their Final Straw/Eyes Open eras, but their last 2 albums didn't sell much more than Red in the UK and they haven't had a top ten single since 2008. I'd say Taylor is more relevant in the UK right now, tbh.
Oh well, I think Holy Ground/State of Grace/All Too Well would smash, but The Last Time can't hurt. It's a well-written song, I love Tay's verse in it and it'll reach a different/wider audience than the MM stuff.
TLT as single news is like an oasis in desert area

STF will be released to pop, HAC, and AC
TLT can be a minor hit in Triple A format
I also think there's probability she will release SoG as final single, and serve us more alternative songs in upcoming album
But maybe UK is here for it...
It's a perfect song for fall/winter imo!
