Both my parents love indian music, especially old ones from the 60s/70s because that's when they were kids/teens lol.
Pop wise, they both love Michael Jackson and Madonna. Those two are the only pop stars my mom likes. My dad really likes the classic dance icons like Donna Summer, Beegees, and ABBA. But he's mostly a massive Madonna stan. He says Papa Don't Preach is one of the greatest pop songs ever made.
Mum - Nicki, Pitbull, Madonna, Rod Stewart, Robbie Williams, Robin Thicke and Cher.
Dad - Elvis Costello, Marc Almond and Bob Dylan.
As for my faves :
Britney - Neither of them particularly like her music, BUT my dad considers Toxic to be one of the greatest pop songs of all time. They stan for her personality though, and may or may not consider her to be their fourth child... :/
Taylor Swift - Both HATE her personality and music.
Carrie Underwood - Dad can't stand her full stop. Mum likes a couple of songs, but hates her as a person.
Kacey Musgraves - Both don't mind her... Mum's going with me to her concert next month.
Miranda Lambert - Don't like her.
The Band Perry - I don't think they even know who they are... :/
Billy Idol - My dad hates him. Mum likes his music.
I don't stan for Katy or Cheryl Cole but my mum and dad both hate them with a passion.
